West Ham are strongly interested in the opportunity to sign Carney Chukwuemeka, ExWHUEmployee reports.

Our insider previously suggested that a Chelsea player was likely to emerge as a potential option on deadline day, and the attacking midfielder has now been revealed as the player in question.

“We can confirm that West Ham are interested in Carney Chukwuemeka from Chelsea and he IS the player we referred to this morning from Chelsea,” Ex said on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“The club wanted to keep it quiet so as not to attract other potential suitors, but it has now been reported elsewhere. At the moment it is not thought that he will be bought along with Soler – Soler is now expected to sign.

“However, he was seen as another potential signing and if other players left we might be tempted.”
