Commanders reportedly trade WR Jahan Dotson to Eagles for three draft picks

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Washington Commanders are reportedly considering trading wide receiver Jahan Dotson to the Philadelphia Eagles for three draft picks.

In exchange for Dotson, the Commanders will send the Eagles a fifth-round pick and receive a third-round pick and two seventh-round picks in the 2025 draft.

Dotson now becomes another offensive weapon for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, joining running back Saquon Barkley, tight end Dallas Goedert, and fellow wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith.

The Eagles have been looking for stability at third receiver and have seen Britain Covey, John Ross, Parris Campbell and rookie Johnny Wilson work with the first team during training camp.

Dotson, a 2022 first-round draft pick out of Penn State, caught 49 passes for 518 yards and four touchdowns for the Commanders last season. The 24-year-old, entering his third year in the NFL, has totaled 84 receptions, 1,041 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
