Collision on Horseshoe Valley Road in Craighurst under investigation

Emergency services had to rescue one person trapped in a vehicle after a collision in Craighurst on Thursday morning.

Police closed Horseshoe Valley Road West at McNutt Road, forcing motorists to turn back.

The area will be closed while crews work and police investigate what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and end up in the ditch.

The incident happened in front of Settler’s Ghost Golf Club.

The individual’s injuries were not disclosed.

The investigation is ongoing.
