Exclusive

SEAN KANAN

I hear ‘COBRA KAI’ SPIN-OFF talks

…They can count on me!!!

Sean Kananhas been active in the ‘Karate Kid’ universe for 35 years and he has no plans to slow down. He is aware of all the rumors about a possible ‘Cobra Kai’ spin-off.

We caught up with Sean in West Hollywood, and the actor — known for his role as villain Mike Barnes in 1989’s “The Karate Kid Part III” — tells us he’s fully behind a streaming spinoff if it gets the green light.

Sean reprised his role in Season 6 of ‘CK,’ which just aired, and he tells us he’s excited to reconnect with the original ‘Karate Kid’ crew, including Ralph Macchio And Billy Zabka.

He also shares his theory on why the show is such a knockout… suggesting that it has a timeless message that resonates with a new generation, while giving their parents a nostalgic kick. A perfect blend of old and new, keeping everyone hooked!

Sean doesn’t want to reveal too much about what we can expect from the new season… but he does hint at a fight that his character has had to strive for for a long time and that fans will definitely be excited about.

Part 1 of season 6 dropped on Netflix this week, with part 2 coming out in November.
