Cobra Kai season six part two: Netflix fans share their biggest theories for the second half

Cobra Kai fans binge-watched the first five episodes of season six, which debuted on Netflix earlier this week. Now viewers are frustrated after having to wait four months for the second part.

For the final season, the streaming platform has taken a new approach: the season will be split into three parts, with five episodes airing at a time.

It has been confirmed that the second part will be on Netflix in November, so fans will have to wait four long months for the next part.

The finale of part one ended on a tragic note for Tory Nichols (Peyton List), whose mother died after years of battling an illness. She put her grief aside and decided to focus all her attention on karate and the upcoming Sekai Tekai.

After a match with Samantha LaRusso (Mary Mouser) is canceled, Tory decides to return under the wing of Cobra Kai co-founder John Kreese (Martin Kove), much to the surprise of her former teammates.

The students of Miyagi-Do had to compete against each other to determine who would become the captains of the men’s and women’s teams of Sekai Taikai.

After Tory’s dramatic departure, Sam took over as captain of the women’s team, while Miguel Diaz (Xolo Mariduena) and Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan) competed against each other.

After an exciting battle, Robby managed to secure the position and his old rivalry with Miguel flared up again.

After watching the finale, fans flocked to Reddit to share their theories about the second half of season six.

A Reddit user suggested that Tory isn’t the only one joining Cobra Kai, as Kenny Payne (Dallas Dupree Young) could also be making a comeback.

They wrote: “What if Kenny comes back to Cobra Kai? Kenny left thinking Anthony had put laxatives in his drink (which he didn’t). And he never came back.

“Also, for cobra kai you only saw 4 fighters in the last scene (Tory and 3 Korean fighters) what if Kenny also joins Cobra kai again? It could be possible, since Kreese was in America to convince Tory. He could have convinced Kenny too.” (sic)

Another fan suggested that Tory’s mother’s death might have been even more sinister, as he commented, “bro, did Kreese kill Tory’s mom??? because in the scene he zooms in on her mom’s fist… which I think is a sign of something.” (sic)

A Reddit user pointed to Mr. Miyagi’s secret past, which was already revealed in part one, saying, “There’s one more possibility that I don’t think anyone has mentioned yet regarding Miyagi’s box: the headband could have belonged to Miyagi’s father.

“Maybe there are other things in that box that relate to his father. And/or maybe he brought that box (or its contents) with him from his last trip to Okinawa (from part 2).

“Keep in mind that his father died in part 2, Miyagi probably took some of his father’s stuff with him. Of course, this doesn’t explain other things like Miyagi’s connection to the gym and the attack/robbery. But not everything in that box has to be connected.” (sic)
