Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2 will be released on Netflix in November

The penultimate part of the Cobra Kai saga arrives this holiday season. Netflix’s hit Cobra Kai part 2 of season 6 releases on November 15, bringing fans one step closer to the final chapter in the original Karate Kid series. These five episodes take us to the prestigious Sekai Taikai karate tournament, the five remaining episodes of which will be released on Netflix sometime in 2025.

At the end of Part 1, we saw that both Miyagi-Do and the new Cobra Kai qualified for the World Championship. Daniel (Ralph Macchio) also discovered that Mr. Miyagi was participating in the tournament after finding his bloody headband. The realization called into question everything about his teachings and what Miyagi-Do was about.

“The first thing you’ll notice is that we’re not in the Valley anymore. It’s a completely different environment. The competitive space is different than previous All Valley tournaments,” co-creator Hayden Schlossberg told Netflix’s Tudum. ‘There is no audience watching. This is a karate temple they go to, where the only people present are black belts or karate masters.”

It was also announced on Thursday that Lewis Tan (Mortal Kombat), Patrick Luwis (Rebel Moon) and newcomer Rayna Vallandingham have joined the cast. The three make their debut in part two and are part of a competitive dojo in the Sekai Taikai.

“Everyone feels like this chapter is now closed and we can look forward to working together to create the best Sekai Taikai experience for our students,” Macchio added.

Cobra Kai has been nominated for eight Primetime Emmy Awards, including Best Comedy Series in 2021.
