Classic away kit brings back memories of Keegan days

Newcastle United have taken kit presentation to a new level with the launch of their classic away kit for the 2024/25 season.

The video for the kit’s release, set to the song Stop by 80s dance duo Erasure, features a number of current and former Newcastle stars on a train journey with supporters.

The navy and deep red horizontal striped shirt is a nod to the 1995/1996 season, when David Ginola, Les Ferdinand, Rob Lee and others played in full glory.

It will undoubtedly be a hit with fans who remember the days of Kevin Keegan’s heroes.
