Cheryl Hines discusses marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after his tryst with Olivia Nuzzi

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s wife, actress Cheryl Hines, revealed her trick for getting through ‘crazy’ times in marriage and insisted she’s ‘feeling good’ in her first interview, weeks after it emerged her husband was in a relationship had with political journalist Olivia Nuzzi.

Hines also said she had “felt a lot of emotion over rumors,” but did not directly address swirling reports that her husband, 70, and the 31-year-old New York magazine writer were involved in a “sexting” arrangement at The Groundlings. Saturday 50th anniversary event.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm star discussed her marriage and dealing with RFK’s growing political profile, while also revealing plans to write a tell-all book in two different interviews during the event.

“There has to be a connection,” Hines, 59, told US Weekly in Los Angeles.

“There’s a connection between you looking at your husband or your partner and all the crazy things going on around you, or you looking and checking in and saying, ‘Okay.’ It’ll be fine. We’re going to live through this moment.”

“And you know, a lot of times it’s funny and you can lean over and say, ‘These are crazy balls,’ and have a moment together and then hold your head up and move on to the next thing.”

Hines also told the publication that she has recently been “having a lot of fun with (her) family,” and “if I had a boring family, it would be hard.”

“And I think just trying to embrace the unknown and instead of fighting it, is kind of trying to embrace it and just say yes to whatever comes your way,” said Hines, who, like Kennedy, has children from a previous marriage.

“Just to let it flow and find the little moments and not take anything too seriously. Even though I am in very serious situations!”

The comments come as her relationship with the Kennedy scion comes under scrutiny after he was accused of having a digital affair with Nuzzi, who profiled the then-independent candidate last November.

Nuzzi reportedly started sexting Kennedy in response to the story, and also sent him “modest nudes.” The pair even had “incredible sex over FaceTime,” a source told Page Six.

Kennedy has denied an affair with Nuzzi with his camp, stating that the two only saw each other in person once during an interview for the magazine piece in New York.

When asked how she was doing, Hines said at The Groundlings event on Saturday, “Listen, me, I’m feeling good,” according to People.

She also said she was counting down the days until the presidential election was over.

“The end is near,” she told People. “And it makes me feel very peaceful. 17 days actually. But yeah, let’s say it’s 16. I Google it every day. You think I remembered it from the day before. There’s a countdown every day.”

After withdrawing from the race for the White House, Kennedy has vocally endorsed former President Donald Trump against Vice President Kamala Harris.

Hines noted that when she first met Kennedy more than a decade ago, he claimed he had no interest in politics.

“I thought, ‘Great. This is going to be great!’ And then life gives you a left turn, but it turns out to be a right turn,” she told the publication.

“People have a lot of feelings about politics, especially in Hollywood, and I don’t know. I mean, so far I feel like it’s okay,” she also said. “I think it’s fine to have those conversations with people, but for me it doesn’t define someone.

Hines also said she was writing a book about how the couple, who have been married since 2014, deal with “rumors.”

“A lot of emotions with rumors! But it will all be in my book,” Hines said. “I am writing a book. I took notes – serious notes!”

Kennedy and Hines are still spotted wearing their wedding rings and were seen together at the Al Smith Dinner in New York City last week.

Meanwhile, Nuzzi is on leave from the New York newspaper and embroiled in a legal battle with her ex-fiance, Politico journalist Ryan Lizza.

Lizza and Nuzzi have made accusations against each other after Nuzzi issued a restraining order against Lizza, who is also on leave amid the personal unrest.
