Since the Los Angeles Chargers hired Jim Harbaugh as head coach, a new era of physical, detailed football has begun, creating excitement among Chargers fans and the national media that follows the team.

The hiring of former Ravens executive Joe Hortiz as the new general manager has given the team a major boost in free agency and the roster structure the team desperately needed.

Harbaugh, Hortiz and Spanos then hired a series of coaches, including Navarro Bowman, Greg Roman, Jesse Minter, Sanjay Lal, Nick Hardwick, Mark Tressman, Chris Oleary, Steve Clinkscale, Chris Beatty and Ben Herbert, to help change the direction of the franchise.

The team managed to sign a slew of players through free agency, including Bradley Bozeman, Denzel Perryman, Hayden Hurst, Will Dissly, Kristian Fulton, DJ Chark, Gus Edwards, JK Dobbins, Alex Leatherwood, Bud Dupree, Troy Dye, Ben Mason and many more.
