Mazzulla was named Celtics head coach ahead of the 2022-2023 season and has had tremendous success since then.

After leading Boston to a 57-25 record and a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2023, the Celtics had an NBA-best 64-18 record last season and won a championship, beating the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.

Henry, 47, also knows a thing or two about winning championships, clinching a UEFA Champions League title and two La Liga titles with Barcelona, plus two Premier League titles with Arsenal.

Henry was also part of the French national team that won the FIFA World Cup in 1998 and finished runners-up in 2006.

After a spectacular playing career, Henry started working as a manager. He held that role from 2018 to 2019 with Monaco and from 2019 to 2021 with Montreal Impact of the MLS.

This year, Henry led the French men’s national team at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, helping them win a silver medal.

Three Celtics players returned from France with Olympic gold in tow, as Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White represented Team USA.

The Celtics enter the 2024-25 season as odds-on favorites to repeat as NBA champions, although Porziņģis will miss the start of the season as he recovers from an ankle injury that required surgery.
