Boston Celtics player Derrick White was involved in a brawl during Colorado American football’s 28-9 win over Colorado State on September 14.

On Tuesday, the former Colorado basketball star was questioned during Celtics Media Day about the altercation in which a CSU fan knocked White’s hat off his head.

Ian Steele of ABC 6 in Providence passed along the quotes.

White added that he “shouldn’t have been there”, that it was “unfortunate” and that he wants to “move on with his life” after the incident.
