Cycling Canada has announced the full schedule of the 2025 Canadian Championships to be held across the country in all disciplines.

“Each year, the Canadian Championships brings together the country’s best athletes in their respective disciplines to give them the opportunity to wear the maple leaf as their ultimate prize,” said Josh Peacock, Cycling Canada’s director of marketing and events. “We’re excited to once again travel across the country with our 2025 Canadian Championships calendar of events, which will not only showcase Canada’s best athletes, but also provide a platform to inspire the next generation with events held in some of Canada’s most iconic settings.”

Cycling Canada is still seeking candidates to host the 2025 UCI Canadian Enduro MTB Championships. If you are interested in submitting a bid for the event, please contact [email protected].

Track
The Vélodrome Sylvan Adams – Centre Multisports Desjardins in Bromont, QC, opens the national championship season with the first-ever Canadian Masters, Elite and Para Track Championships from January 9-12. Juniors and U17 athletes will be welcomed to Milton, Ontario from April 4-6.

E-sports
This February, athletes from across the country can compete for the maple leaf jersey in the comfort of their own home at the Canadian eSports Championships, once again on the Zwift platform. The event takes place on February 8th and 9th.

Away
Junior, Elite and Para athletes return to the roads of St-Georges-de-Beauce, QC from June 27-30 during the event hosted by the Grand Prix Cycliste de Beauce, while Masters athletes will compete from August 15-17, once again in the Greater Victoria region of British Columbia, hosted by Wheelhouse Cycling Society.

Gravel
The Gravel Championships return for the third year in a row and will be presented by Deadgoat Racing on June 15. The races will once again take place at the Ghost of the Gravel circuit in the majestic landscapes of Water Valley, Alberta.

Mountain bike
After two years of racing in Eastern Canada, XCO and XCC riders will travel west to Langford, British Columbia, via the newly opened trails of Jordie Lunn Memorial Park. There, they will compete for the podium, brought to you by Wheelhouse Cycling Society, from July 18-20.

Downhill athletes will compete in Sun Peaks, BC on August 2-3, courtesy of organizer Sun Peaks Resort and SE Racing. Meanwhile, XCM athletes will hit the trails again on August 23 in Thunder Bay, ON, courtesy of the Blacksheep Mountain Bike Club.

BMX
As the summer season draws to a close, attention will turn to the BMX Racing athletes who will compete on the brand new world-class Supercross track in St. Albert, AB, hosted by the St. Albert BMX Association on August 23-24. National athletes will get their first taste of the new track during the Canada Cup later this summer.

As fall approaches, the Centre National de Cyclisme in Bromont, QC, welcomes BMX Freestyle athletes to its brand new Acrobatic Zone on October 18, which opened last March.

Cyclo-cross
Cyclocross athletes will compete in the National Championships in November in Lévis, QC, hosted by CX418, to see the country’s best athletes in action. The official date of the event will be confirmed in the fall of 2024.
