BTS Jin dazzles audience with beautiful Chuseok greetings in traditional hanbok

KOREA: According to Allkpop, BTS’s Jin wowed fans around the world with his stunning appearance in a Chuseok greeting video shared via the official BTS YouTube channel on September 16 KST.

Jin, who has grown his hair long since being discharged from the military three months ago, wore a purple hanbok and greeted his fans as the “visual king” of BTS.

“Hello, this is Jin from BTS,” Jin greeted viewers in the video. “The happy occasion of Chuseok has arrived.” He concluded with a sentimental message, hoping that the fans, called ARMYs, had a good time during the holiday.

“Although it seems like yesterday I was discharged, the time has gone by so quickly. For all of our ARMYs who have put in so much effort this year, I hope the rest of 2024 brings many more great memories.”

Celebrating Chuseok

Jin encouraged fans to enjoy the wonderful holidays and spend Chuseok with loved ones. He ended his message with a playful “scissors” hand gesture and wished everyone a happy Chuseok, which further thrilled viewers.

Jin previously gained popularity for carrying a torch during the French relay at the 2024 Summer Olympics. On July 14, Jin became the first foreigner to carry the Olympic torch as the first runner through the Louvre during France’s national holiday, Bastille Day.

His participation attracted a lot of attention and was the subject of much worldwide search and discussion.

Prince of modern times

Jin’s appearance was highlighted by France’s largest weekly magazine, Parisian competitionin which his involvement was praised and he was compared to a ‘prince’ of modern times.

The American news agency AP and Billboard Jin’s huge impact was also highlighted, with his torch relay named as one of the top 10 moments to watch for at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
