Bryson DeChambeau Will Feature Former NFL QB Tony Romo on YouTube

Bryson DeChambeau’s YouTube ratings continue to climb. A few weeks ago, he surpassed the one million subscriber mark, proving himself to be one of the most popular players in the game.

His recent US Open triumph helped him do just that, as did his recent collaborations with former US President Donald Trump and two-time major champion John Daly. At the time of writing, DeChambeau’s videos with Trump and Daly have amassed more than 17 million combined views, eye-opening moments that have attracted a wide range of viewers.

But his next video will also likely attract a lot of attention.

DeChambeau announced Monday that former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will appear in the next episode of ‘Breaking 50.’

In the series, DeChambeau invites a guest to join him in a two-man scramble from the red tees to try to break 50, a ridiculously low score even from the most advanced teeing grounds. In addition to Trump and Daly, other guests in the series include Paige Spiranac, 2017 Masters champion Sergio Garcia and Long Drive champion Martin Borgmeier. DeChambeau has nine episodes of “Breaking 50” to his YouTube repertoire and 100 other videos on his channel.

But as this teaser featuring Romo reveals, DeChambeau still needs to hit 50 with one of his playing partners. Perhaps the current NFL on CBS broadcast can help him get there, as Romo suggests in this video.

Romo is, after all, a great player. He’s won the American Century Championship three times, most recently in 2022. But he finished 38th at Lake Tahoe last July, a disappointing finish considering his skill level. Still, Romo will try PGA Tour Q-School again, according to Golf Channel’s Brentley Romine. Romo’s pre-qualifying rounds begin next week at Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton, Kansas.

Perhaps DeChambeau gave him a tip or two before giving Q-school another shot.
