Brighton offer £16.8m for Danish teenager Conrad Harder, but face competition from Sporting Lisbon

Brighton have made a £16.8million bid for Nordsjaelland striker Conrad Harder.

The 19-year-old has also received an offer from Sporting Lisbon.

Harder has played six games in the Danish Superliga so far this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

In total, he has scored nine goals in 40 games for Nordsjaelland since making his first-team debut at the end of the 2022-23 season.

Meanwhile, Brighton are unlikely to let midfielder Billy Gilmour leave for Napoli due to Matt O’Riley’s injury.

Striker Ibrahim Osman has also left on loan to Dutch side Feyenoord, while Jeremy Sarmiento will leave for Burnley before the season.
