Brandon Ingram will not play in the preseason opener against the Magic, Pelicans coach Willie Green said.

Ingram’s absence on Monday has nothing to do with injuries, Green said. According to a report from Jim Eichenhofer, it was a “collective decision” for Ingram to stay out of the fight against the Magic.
