Boy, 15, dies after being crushed by a skid steer while trying to move a hay bale

RYAN, Iowa (KCRG/Gray News) – Authorities in Iowa say a teenager has died after being involved in a skid steer accident.

According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, 15-year-old Logan Paul was injured Monday evening when he became trapped between the skid steer and a bale of hay.

The accident happened at a property on Martin Creek Road around 5:30 p.m

Sheriff’s deputies said the boy was moving a hay bale when he became trapped.

He was taken to hospital, but did not survive his injuries.

Linn County authorities say the crash remains under investigation.
