  • Pop star Beyoncé will join Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris at a rally in Houston on Friday.
  • Harris is visiting Texas to support Democrat Colin Allred in his Senate race against incumbent Republican Ted Cruz.

WASHINGTON – She was the rumored guest who never showed up at the Democratic National Convention.

But this time it’s not a rumor.

Beyoncé takes the stage with Kamala Harris.

According to Reuters, the pop queen will appear with the Democratic presidential candidate at the rally in Houston on Friday.

Harris, who is locked in a close race against Republican Donald Trump, is heading to Texas to support another Democrat, Colin Allred, who is trying to unseat Republican Senator Ted Cruz.

Houston native Beyoncé is expected to perform, Reuters reports, along with her mother Tina Knowles.

Beyoncé’s support for Harris is no surprise.

Tina Knowles immediately endorsed Harris for president after announcing her bid. Harris’ running mate Tim Walz is considered a certified Beyhive member. And last summer, Harris attended Beyoncé’s Renaissance concert just outside Washington after the superstar gifted her tickets.

In addition to these tapes, Beyoncé’s camp gave Harris approval to use Beyoncé’s 2016 song “Freedom” featuring Kendrick Lamar during the campaign.

The joy is over: As the election approaches, Kamala Harris’ tone is turning somber

The superstar’s connection to Harris sparked rumors at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August that she would be a surprise guest on the final night of the convention when Harris gave her acceptance speech.

But there was no surprise guest: Beyoncé or anyone else.

This time, the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer will go full Sasha Fierce for Harris.
