Ben Simmons cleared for 5-on-5

Ben Simmons has been cleared for a 5-on-5 game, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reported.

Simmons, who underwent back surgery in March, should also be ready for training camp next month.

Lewis adds that new head coach Jordi Fernandez visited Simmons in Florida this offseason.

It’s unlikely the Nets will buy out Simmons.
