Becky Lynch Takes Up Unusual Hobby After WWE Exit – TJR Wrestling

Becky Lynch has replaced wrestling with a completely different sport.

On June 1, Becky Lynch’s WWE contract expired, making her a free agent for the first time in over a decade. Rather than sign a deal with another company like AEW, Lynch reportedly plans to take an extended break from wrestling. WWE is reportedly confident in working with The Man again if she decides to return to the ring.

While there have been few updates on the star since her departure, Big Time Becks has now given some insight into her life after wrestling. Taking to Instagram, the star revealed that she has now taken up the unusual sport of pickleball, comparing the surprising move to Michael Jordan leaving basketball for baseball.

“Michael Jordan played baseball. The Man plays pickleball.”

According to Pickleball England, the sport combines elements of badminton, tennis and ping-pong. From the organization’s website:

“The game is played on a court with the same dimensions as badminton doubles. The net is similar to a tennis net, but slightly lower. The game is played with a hard “paddle” and a hard, hollow plastic ball with holes in it.”

The site notes that pickleball is “more accessible to children and seniors” than sports like tennis.

New WWE partnership hints at Becky Lynch’s future

On June 27, WWE announced a new partnership with English Premier League club Manchester City. The deal will see the launch of a new range of merchandise featuring top WWE stars, while Manchester City will wear a special kit featuring the company’s logo during their pre-season tour of America.

Interestingly, the press release for the partnership notes that merchandise featuring Becky Lynch will be released, seemingly confirming that the star will remain with WWE.
