The Chicago Bears could reportedly be among the top sellers in the NFL ahead of the Nov. 5 trade deadline.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Bears are “open to moving” guard Nate Davis and are also “weighing trade options” for pass rusher Dominique Robinson.

The Bears would take an atypical approach by shipping off some of their players, as Fowler noted they “added at the trade deadline during the early stages of the Ryan Poles-Matt Eberflus regime, but they are now in a position to deal. extras” because they “have built good depth at various positions.”

Davis started the year as Chicago’s starting right guard before being benched in Week 3. He was inactive for the team’s Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

Fowler pointed out that trading Davis would require “Chicago to cover some of his $8.75 million salary, but I have a feeling the Bears are comfortable with that” because “the experiment didn’t go well.”

Robinson, a 2022 fifth-round pick who has played 28 combined games in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, has yet to see the field this year. Fowler noted that he “could use a fresh start elsewhere” and mentioned the Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals and Washington Commanders as teams that could be interested in him because they are “short on pass rushers.”

Fowler also identified veteran running back Khalil Herbert as “the odd man out” in Chicago’s backfield. With offensive tackle Larry Borom getting closer to returning from injured reserve, “I saw teams inquiring about Chicago’s tackle depth,” Fowler said.

The Bears will look to improve to 5-2 when they return to action on Sunday against the Commanders.
