Ba U14 team aims for final

Defending champions Ba Football Under-14 made a strong start on the second day of the Fiji Football Viti Futsal Cup, which was held yesterday at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

To retain their title, the team delivered impressive performances in their first two games.

They secured a convincing 5-0 victory over Australia Gold in their opening match and followed this up with a solid 3-0 win over Rewa Kajikaji.

Coach Willam Simmons praised the team’s winning mentality and their determination to excel in the competition.

Simmons realized that the competition from other teams was fierce and stressed that the team had to improve their defensive strategies and teamwork to maintain their winning streak.

“We came with a winning mentality and wanted to make our mark on the competition. We know the other teams are strong, so we came to win and that’s exactly what we did by winning both games,” said Simmons.

“Our defense and teamwork could use some improvement, but overall the boys are doing well. Despite playing a good team like Rewa, it went our way and we are thankful for that.

After a successful start against Australia Gold and Rewa, the team is now focused on reaching the final and achieving another victory.

With the competition almost over, the Ba under 14 football team is determined to show their skills and emerge as winners.

Today the finals of the competition are being completed.
