Azealia Banks makes a dramatic change of endorsement as she lashes out at ‘dirtbag’ Elon Musk

Azealia Banks launched an extraordinary attack on Tesla CEO and X/Twitter owner Elon Musk when she announced she would vote for Kamala Harris in the US election despite her reservations about the Democratic presidential candidate.

The controversial rapper, who said last year she would vote for Harris’ Republican rival Donald Trump, took to X on Monday (November 4) to warn her followers not to let Musk exert further influence on US politics.

“I really think keeping Elon Musk out of any form of political power in the US comes down to every issue on the table here,” she wrote of the tech billionaire, who has become one of Trump’s most loyal celebrity supporters.

She continued, “You have to be a complete idiot to think that bastard cares about anyone or anything other than himself. He has already received way too much tax money. Allowing him to rise to a position of political authority is very dangerous.

“You don’t become the richest man in the world because of honesty and good character lol, you have to be an expert liar, thief and cheat to become that.”

The independent has reached out to Musk’s representative for comment.

She went on to address the US influx of migrants, dismissing claims that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) “flew in a bunch of illegal aliens just for votes.”

That idea is “real stupidity,” she said, before claiming that “the DNC doesn’t need to import people to win elections, they can and will just steal them like they did in 2020.”

“I’m going to vote for Kamala Harris tomorrow because Elon Musk… has no place in American politics whatsoever. The end,” she concluded.

Banks’ endorsement of Harris comes a year after she shared it The standard that she would vote for Trump in the 2024 election because “he’s damn funny.”

‘How many bankruptcies has he been through? How many women? How many television programs? Seriously, nothing can bring him down,” she said at the time.

She joins other celebrities, including Harrison Ford and Jennifer Aniston, who also endorsed Harris just before the election.

While Harris has received the support of several high-profile celebrities, Trump can count on country stars Jason Aldean and Kid Rock, and actors Zachary Levi, Dennis Quaid and Mel Gibson, who have all endorsed him.

Although Harris is overwhelmingly favored by the Hollywood elite, current polls indicate she and Trump are neck-in-neck in key battleground states.
