Australia vs India first live Test: Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul resume Indian attack on day three at Perth Stadium

What happened in Perth yesterday?

India batted.

And hit.

And hit.

There was a very small backline of Australia’s 10th wicket, but just enough to tip over 100. And India’s openers took it from there.

After the drama of day one, India got into a rhythm on day two in Perth. Or rather, Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul got into a rhythm – no other batsman was needed.

Today we will see if Australia’s vaunted bowling attack can dig deep and find something to get them out of trouble. And they will have to do it quickly, because with a deficit of 218 and all ten wickets of the second innings still to go, this match is quickly getting away from them.
