Attempted murder charges laid following a stabbing at West Midlands train station

British Transport Police say charges have been laid following a serious attack at Bescot Stadium station last weekend.

Deng Cholmajek, 18, has been charged with attempted murder after the attack on October 20.

Officers were called to Bescot Stadium at around 11.25pm ​​following reports of a serious assault.

A woman remains in a serious condition with life-threatening injuries.

Deng Cholmajek is due to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court today (October 22).
