Ashneer Grover Settles BharatPe Dispute; Check Out Three Other Controversies of Former Shark Tank Judge News24 –

New Delhi: Shark Tank India’s former co-judge Ashneer Grover is not new to controversies. Lets look at three instances where he got embroiled in arguments with other parties. But before that in a surprise move to the long standing dispute between Grover and the company he himself founded, BharatPe, the two parties have decided to settle all disputes.

The financial services company said both have reached settlement following which Grover will not have any association whatsoever with BharatPe. Plus, Grover’s entire stake in the fintech will be managed by his family trust. Ashneer said in a tweet that he had complete faith in the management and board of the fintech who are doing great work in taking BharatPe forward in the right direction.

Three Other Controversies of Ashneer Grover

  1. Grover’s Face-Off With Comedian

Earlier this year, Ashneer Grover got embroiled in a fresh controversy with comedian Aashish Solanki. The latter had made fun of Grover in his roast show regarding his dispute with BharatPe. Grover was part of the show where jokes were made on him. That didn’t go down well with BharatPe’s former MD who then forced Solanki to remove the footage from the internet.

2. Grover’s Verbal Spat With Co-Judge Namita Thapar

After Grover left Shark Tank, he got into a verbal spat with co-judge Namita Thapar. The latter took indirect jab at him once. This fueled Grover’s feelings against her. By directly naming Thapar during a communication with a fan, Ashneer took said that the Executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals talks about him everywhere she goes.

3. Rs 81 Crore Scam With EOW

The former co-founder of BharatPe also got embroiled in a tussle with the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) which had filed a fraud case against him and his wife Madhuri. The duo were booked for Rs 81 crore scam. As usual, Ashneer kept denying all the claims.
