Arrest – Series of burglaries in farm shops solved thanks to a witness

Initially only reported the crime, then arrested
During the subsequent interrogation, the man confessed to the fifth theft from a farm shop. After the investigation was completed, the Public Prosecution Service ordered the man released. Due to the current residence ban in Austria, the newspaper service of the Federal Office for Immigration and Asylum (BFA) was contacted, which issued an arrest warrant. The 48-year-old was therefore transferred to the police detention center (PAZ) in Linz, where he was found suitable for custody.
