Ambessa release date in League of Legends: which patch?

The monster they created.

Are you ready to conquer with a new generic graceful Summoner’s Rift? Note the official release date of Ambessa.

We first met her in Arcane, Riot Games’ animated League of Legends series streaming exclusively on Netflix. In season one we learn that she is a general, someone known, respected and feared in the Noxian army.

She is also the mother of Mel Medarda, someone whose personality is in stark contrast to hers. This divergence not only highlights their differences but also shapes their interactions, leading to a unique dynamic between them.

Who is Ambessa Medarda?

In Arcane season one, we learn about Ambessa’s past and why she acts the way she does.

At the age of ten, her father took her to the aftermath of the Battle of Hildenard. There they collected weapons from the fallen in exchange for a gold coin each, exposing them to the harsh reality of death.

As an adult, Ambessa tried to instill the same principles in her two children. Sadly, neither her son nor daughter ended up like her. Her son Kino preferred diplomacy to conflict. Mel also adopted his perspective and viewed war and murder as a last resort.

Ultimately, Ambessa sent Mel away from Noxus to Piltover, suggesting that her sentimental nature resonates better with the idealists there.
