You can find lots of easter eggs and secrets around both the cards and in the lobby while playing PhasmophobiaMany of them are quite easy to spot as long as you pay close attention while exploring, but some are well hidden.

Here is every easter egg and secret you can find in Phasmophobia.

Maple Lodge Campsite Easter Eggs and Secrets

The Maple Lodge Campsite Map is the best place to visit for some great secrets, with lots to discover. Take your time to walk around and check every nook and cranny, because there is something new to discover at every twist and turn.

Jason Voorhees Mask by Friday the 13th

Maple Lodge Campsite is a campsite located right on a lake, but this is not where the Friday the 13th parallels end. If you go all the way to the end of the pier overlooking the lake, you will find a Jason Voorhees Mask look up to you.

To spawn this mask, all you need to do is stand at the edge and look straight down at the bubbling water spot below. The mask will then rise to the surface, so it looks like Jason Voorhees has been terrorizing this camp as well.

Slim man

When you visit the Maple Lodge Campsite or the smaller Camp Woodwind, you may see someone quite tall and menacing watching you from the woods. Slim man appears randomly deep in the forest on both maps, but it’s not always there. So the best way to see it is to look into the forest every time you open either map.

The place I’ve found him most often is in the woods outside the camp gate, so look to the left before you go in to try and spot him. He has a 1 in 3 chance of appearing every time you load one of the camp maps, and can appear in any area where you have a view of the woods.

The Ring

The lakeside cabin on the Maple Lodge Campsite map hides a rare and creepy movie reference. When the television in the cabin mysteriously turns on and off, can hear the phone ringing as a direct reference to The Ring.

The Blair Witch Project twig doll

If you turn left immediately after entering this map and go to the gate behind the campfire, you will find a twig doll hanging on the fence. This is a reference to the stick figures of The Blair Witch Project.

Before it was renovated, Maple Lodge Campsite had two secrets. The first was a heart drawn on the top of a toilet tank as a reference to Saw and the second was a dead body lying under the hut. Both disappeared after the map overhaul, but if they come back in a later update, they will be added here.

Outside of the Maple Lodge Campsite there are still many other easter eggs and secrets to be found.

The potato

While exploring 6 Tanglewood Drive or Sunny Meadows Mental Institution you may have come across the following: a strange potato with a faceThis is an easter egg for the Twitch creator and YouTuber PsychoHypnotic who makes a lot Phasmophobia content and has a strong potato theme running through its channels.

Point Hope Ferryman of the Drowned

The Point Hope Lighthouse map hides a huge Easter egg puzzle that you can solve to unlock the special Point Hope Ferryman of the Drowned BadgeCompleting a secret series of missions on this map will earn you an exclusive badge and unlock a special map effect featuring dozens of creepy floating ghosts hovering atop the lighthouse.

A score of 666 in basketball

If you manage to get a score of 666 by playing a lot basketball In the lobby you will be welcomed with a sudden storm of lightning and thunder outside while the basketball counter marks this number.

Bloody Mary

You can play a little Bloody Mary if you use this phrase to anger the ghost. Some players have reported that holding a candle in front of a mirror and saying it three times will make the ghost go hunting, but this is not true.

Instead of, Bloody Mary acts as a trigger phrase that can sometimes make the mind angry. This makes it more likely that they will respond and possibly start a ghost hunt.

You can go all out and look in the mirror and hold the candle, but this is mostly for show and has no direct effect on the ghost’s behavior. The phrase does seem to generally anger ghosts, based on my experience with it, so consider trying it out if you’re hoping to capture some ghost activity.

Jojo was here

In the lobby, there is a boombox on a table with a clipboard and a ghost hunting guide. If you walk to the side of the table where the boombox is, you will find the words “Jojo was here” scribbled on the table, which is a reference to a creator called JOJOsaysbreee who makes a lot Phasmophobia contents.

The Chapel at Sunny Meadows Mental Institution

All Cursed Possessions spawn in front of the giant cross in the chapel on the Sunny Meadows Mental Institution and Sunny Meadows Restricted maps. If you create a custom difficulty with at least six of these items and use the Summoning Circle, then a huge cross just behind it is completely destroyed by the flames.

Also, as you light each candle in the circle, a new crucifix in the room turns upside down before the cross in the center bursts into flames. No other card or object has such a dramatic effect as this one, so it’s a terrifying but also kind of epic experience to watch.

Patient 07

One of the ghost models you encounter in Phasmophobia has been appointed Patient 07 by the community because of the label with this name on her clothing. She is the one in the flaming crucifix photo just before this, and she has a complicated history in the ghost hunting game and a few secrets associated with her.

Before Sunny Meadows Mental Insituion arrived, there was an Asylum map instead. In the version 0.6.0.1 update, the pajama-wearing female ghost model was updated to the Patient 07 label, and some interesting markings were discovered on Asylum, including a poem of sorts written by her.

This poem goes: “I have to leave, somewhere else, I don’t belong here, I’m leaving soon, to get better, I hope, I’ve found a new home, Sunny Meadows, sounds good, a place to heal.”

Now you can find remains of Patient 07’s stay at Sunny Meadows Mental Institution on the map, including her body in the morgue and a room covered with counting lines And bloody handprints of her time there. She is also the lobby ghost you can see it if you look through the door past the photo board.
