Whether you go to Urzikstan or Rebirth Island, meta guns in War zone can increase your chances of getting the dub.

Season five of Warzone introduced four new weapons, with the STG44 and Static-HV dropping at the start of the season and the Torque 35 bow and Spear melee being added in the Reloaded update. The mid-season update for season five also brought a lot of weapon changes, slightly toning down the weapons that have dominated the meta. However, a few weapons have performed better than others in each season, so if you’re interested in using the meta weapons in War zone Season Five Reloaded, here’s everything you need to know.

Assault rifles, light machine guns, and sniper rifles always dominate the long-range meta in War zone. However, you should use an SMG in meta as a secondary for close-quarter combat in Resurgence or to just finish off your opponents. We have the long and short range meta guns in War zone season five below.

The STG44 is a modernized version of the World War II-era STG-44. This assault rifle dominates the long-range meta due to its incredible accuracy and recoil control. But the icing on the cake is the Quartermaster Suppressor, one of two secret attachments introduced in season five that works wonders for any long-range weapon, eliminating significant visual recoil and adding a lot more control without any huge drawbacks.

We carry out the following STG44 construction in War zone season five:

  • Snout: Quartermaster Oppressor
  • Walk: Heinrichter C70 Long Rod
  • Optics: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Ammunition: 7.92x33mm high grit rounds
  • Magazine: 50 round drum

While the MTZ-556 received a significant buff to its damage range in the season five patch, it was always difficult to land your shots from far away due to the weapon’s harsh lateral recoil. The two new attachments Quartermaster Suppressor and Paracord Grip fix this recoil issue and make the assault rifle an absolute meta option in the new season.

Here is the build we use for the MTZ-556 in War zone:

  • Snout: Quartermaster Oppressor
  • Walk: MTZ Clinch Pro-barrel
  • Underflow: Paracord handle
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Speed
  • Magazine: 50 round drum
