All Meditation Spot Locations in Black Myth Wukong

There is plenty to find off the beaten track in Black Myth: Wukongsuch as chests, stat-boosting Celestial Pills, and Meditation places. When you rest in a meditation spot, you regenerate your health, mana, and healing gourd, reset your cooldowns, and gain a Skill Point.

Getting a free Ability Point is essentially the same as getting a free level-up, so finding every Meditation Spot is key to reaching your full potential. To make things easier, once you find a Meditation Spot in a chapter, Black Myth: Wukong tells you exactly how many more you need. They are often easy to missbut especially in Chapter Two and beyond. If you want to find them all, this comprehensive guide is here to help.

This guide is a work in progress and currently contains every meditation spot of Black Myth: Wukong’s first two chapters. We’ll continue to add meditation spots as we encounter them in our playthrough, so stay tuned.

All meditation places in Black Myth Wukong

Chapter One – Black Wind Mountain

1) The Gazebo, The Wolf Forest (Front Hills)

After you have the Bull protector, Black Myth: Wukong’s first big boss, continue past the river and up the hill. At the top you can turn left and go through a crack in the cliff face (marked by two burning torches) to get the Outside the forest Sanctuary, or go to the right, and you will see your first meditation place under a wooden fence with a grass roof. There is a beautiful view ahead of you, so sit down and relax to get your first free Ability Point.

2) The cave, bamboo forest (Back Hills)

Starting from the Bamboo hill Shrine, go down the stairs. You will come to a fork in the road with a stone pillar in the middle. Go left. You will come to a caveand inside there is a horse NPC who you can talk to. Make sure you exhaust his dialogue. There is a meditation spot in this cave, in front of a small shrine with burning incense.

3) The Cliff, Black Wind Cave (Swamp of White Mist)

From the Swamp of white mist Shrine, go down the wobbly wooden platforms. On your left there is a small fence with a small chest containing a Heavenly Pilland on the right side you will find Shen monkeywhich upgrades your healing Gourds. Pass Shen Monkey and go down the sloping platforms until you reach a shallow pool at the bottom. Continue across the lake and go straight ahead, through the gatethrough the dark cave, and past the dead tree in the middle. You’ll emerge in another outdoor area.

On the left there is a promenade overlooking a beautiful view of the steep hills surrounding Black Wind Mountain. Go down the boardwalk and leftyou will find the third and final meditation spot of Chapter One. You can also go back from the Black Wind Cave – Cave Interior Sanctuary to come here.

Chapter Two – Yellow Wind Gap

1) The Altar, Sandgate Village (entrance to the village)

From the start of Chapter Two, head across the shallow lake and follow the path up to the left to reach the first shrine in Chapter Two: Village entrance. From the Shrine, turn immediately left and go through the narrow passage between two cliff faces. You will emerge on a stone platform overlooking a cloudy brown lake, with a giant frog boss wandering around: Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw.

Jump to the lake, defeat the frog, then go up the wooden stairs. Instead of going all the way up, go to the right and you’ll find a hidden plateau with a small altar and a meditation place in front of it.

2) The Ravine, Rock Crash Platform (Fright Cliff)

After defeating the Stone Sentinel near Rockrest Shrinego through the broken gate. You will find another sanctuary, Rock Clash Platformon the other side. From the Shrine, go down the cobblestone street, and then down the stairs. At the end there is a Meditation Spot overlooking the sandy valley below.

3) The sculpture, Crouching Tiger Temple (temple entrance)

From the Temple entrance Shrine, go up the stairs and towards the temple, but instead of fighting the Tiger Vanguard, go left. You will find another meditation spot in a small niche in front of a stone sculpture.

4) The Deadwood, Rockrest Flat (Fright Cliff)

From the Rockrest flat Sanctuary, go forward and keep walking in a straight line until you reach a path that is somewhat “blocked” by a Bad wooden fence. Run through the gate to break it and you will enter an open area with a drunken pig NPC who asks you to “find something to help (him) sober up.” Go past the drunkard and you will find another meditation spot under a crooked, twisted tree.

5) The Grotto, Yellow Wind Formation (Windseal Gate)

Starting from the Windproof gate Sanctuary, open the gate using the Sharpness of Tiger key item that drops from the Tiger Vanguard in Crouching Tiger Temple. Go through the gate and you will come out in a large, open, sandy valley. You can go to right and down the valley to reach the area’s final boss, the Yellow Wind Sage, forward to the Cellar under Crouching Tiger Temple (where you Xu-dog (again) or left to end up at a dead end with a stone slab with an inscription on the back.

At the rear of the closed area you will find a learned NPC inspecting the stone tabletHe spits out a confusing explanation of the knowledge, and before him there is another Meditation Place.

You can also continue via Crouching Tiger Temple Cellar by using the Keenness of Tiger on the Tally Statue in the bloody boss arena of the Tiger Vanguard. This drains the blood to reveal a downward staircase. After going through a short underground section, you’ll slide down a sand hill and emerge through the Cellar Sanctuary. From here turn right and go down the valley to reach the stone tablet and the meditation spot.

6) The Rock, Sandgate Bound (Secret: Kingdom of Sāhāli)

The final meditation spot in chapter two is located in a secret area that can only be accessed by the drunken pig NPC‘s questline. After freeing the Man-in-Stone trader in Shelter from showers (by defeating the Stone Mother boss in this area), buy the Sobering Stone item and take it back to the drunken boar. Then kill the First Prince of Flowing Sands in the cave in Sandgate Village, shortly after the Valley of despair Sanctuary. He lets the Arhat Golden Piece; an important key item that the drunken pig is looking for.

Finally, go back to where you first encountered the drunken pig, just after the Rockrest flat Shrine. He’ll be hostile and ready for a fight since you have his brother’s gold. After defeating him, he’ll throw in the towel and open the previously non-interactive door at the top of the steps in this area.

Behind the door is a new, hidden area: the Kingdom of Sāhāli. You’ll face the Tiger Vanguard again here, but you should find him easier than the first time. Defeat him, then go through the gate and you’ll be in a large, open, sandy area. Turn left And go over the upper dunesand you’ll find Chapter Two’s final meditation spot on a stone platform overlooking the sand below.
