After Kohli & Rohit, Jadeja retires from T20Is | Cricket News

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has become the third senior cricketer to retire from T20 Internationals (T20Is) after India’s triumphant campaign at the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma announced their retirement from T20Is shortly after India’s win over South Africa in the final on Saturday.

Jadeja took to Instagram to make the announcement. “It is with a heart full of gratitude that I bid farewell to T20 internationals,” Jadeja wrote. “Like a steadfast horse galloping with pride, I have always given my best for my country and will continue to do so in other formats.

“Winning the T20 World Cup was a dream come true, a highlight of my international T20 career. Thank you for the memories, the cheers and the unwavering support.”

The 35-year-old has played 74 T20Is. He scored 515 runs and took 54 wickets.
