adidas Tyshawn II “Core Black” IF9709

Following the release of a stark “Crystal White” colorway that is now nearly completely sold out, Tyshawn Jones’ latest adidas Skateboarding shoe continues its rollout campaign in “Core Black” on July 5th.

Skaters have already had a chance to weigh in on the adidas Tyshawn II, and while feedback is mixed, its generally agreed-upon strengths are traction, cushioning, and impact absorption. A Lightstrike midsole borrowed from the brand’s running and basketball lines complements a lightweight, performance-oriented bottom, while the upper speaks to a retro basketball aesthetic with its nuanced, layered tooling.

Now drenched in “Core Black” leather on this edition, the outsole is where the real intrigue lies. The multi-directional, herringbone pattern comes with splashes of “Collegiate Green” and maroon here, framed around the toe and heel by brown bubble gum.

While it’s unlikely that this pair will receive the same level of demand as the first “Crystal White” edition that dropped in early June, it’s wise to act quickly in hopes of getting your hands on a pair. The adidas Tyshawn II “Core Black/Collegiate Green” releases on July 5 at 10 a.m. EST for $100 via adidas and is expected to hit skate shops sporadically throughout the month as well.
