Adele announces hiatus from music

Famous English singer Adele recently made an announcement about her music career.

She indicated that she wanted to take a break from music to explore new creative avenues.

After living in the United States for the past few years, Adele announced that she plans to return to her home country once her residency expires in November.

During an interview with German broadcaster ZDF, the ‘Hello’ singer made it clear to her fans that they should not expect any new music from her in the near future.

Adele stressed that she was hungry for a big break and indicated that she also wanted to pursue other creative projects for a period of time.

Adele said:

“I don’t have any plans for new music at all. I want to make a big breakthrough and I think I want to do some other creative things for a while.”

In another story, Zlatan Ibile opens up about why it took her months to master her role in ‘Gangs of Lagos’ and why she took a break from her music career.

The hip-hop artist played the role of a notorious gangster in the crime thriller Kash. He admitted that his role was quite difficult to play.

During a recent chat with media personality Samuel Eni, Zlatan Ibile told the host that it took months to learn the karate moves for the film.

He also announced that he was temporarily taking a break from music to focus on perfecting his role in the film, which premiered on April 7, 2023.

In the words of Zlatan:

“I always wanted to act. I had a picture in my head. But I didn’t want it to just be a movie. So when I got the call that they wanted me to be in an Amazon Prime movie, I said, ‘Yes, this is the real movie I want.’

“It took me months to learn those Jet Li moves and Jackie Chan moves. It was a bit stressful. I took my time. I had to pause the music recording for a while. It took us about two months and then we wrapped up (the filming of the movie). The film was shot in 2021.”
