Abandoned apartment building bursts into flames overnight

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Orange plumes of fire engulfed an abandoned apartment building in Hermitage Sunday evening.

The Nashville Fire Department (NFD) said the “fully involved fire” occurred at the intersection of Hermitage Road and Hills Lane.

NFD said crews “conducted a defensive attack to prevent the spread of the fire and keep everyone safe.”
