Cowboys’ Jerry Jones Clarifies Comments on CeeDee Lamb Contract: WR Will Be ‘Missed’ | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats & Rumors

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones still doesn’t appear to be in a rush to sign CeeDee Lamb, but he did make it clear that the wide receiver will be missed.

“Nobody appreciates CeeDee more than I do,” he said in remarks during a preseason television appearance (relayed by Yahoo Sports’ Jori Epstein) on Sunday. “… No, there’s no urgency. Now, I completely understand that anxiety that comes when you’re anxious about it and someone says whether you’re missed or not. Well, CeeDee, you’re missed.”

Jones’ comments come after he previously told reporters“I’m in no hurry to do it” when talking about a possible contract extension with Lamb.
