Fallout: London hotfix still on the way, along with “huge” update

A hotfix is still being worked on for Fallout: London that should fix crashing issues, with developer Team Folon planning a “massive” patch soon after.

The fan-made mod for Fallout 4, set in the English capital, was released in late July, but players have been experiencing crashes and issues, including Eurogamer’s Ian Higton when he streamed his playthrough.

Shortly after, Team Folon promised a solution would be forthcoming, and in a new statement on Discord they reiterated their plans for the future.

“We are truly overwhelmed by the incredible support from the community for our mod. Your enthusiasm and feedback means the world to us!” the announcement reads.

“We have some big plans for the future, starting with a hotfix. This hotfix will fix a number of crashes and incorporate essential systems like ‘Buffout 4’, which will be merged into the mod itself. We’ve also identified several other fixes that will provide immediate relief. Additionally, we’ll be explaining some features we’ve added that may not have been as useful as we thought, so stay tuned for those details.

“The future looks bright! We are already working on a HUGE patch that will address all of the issues reported in our Discord, as well as a multitude of quest-related and other issues.

“So the plan is: first a hotfix to stop and fix the crashes, and then a big patch.”

For now, the team is still offering one-on-one troubleshooting sessions for anyone having trouble getting the mod to work.

Finally, Team Folon will be streaming a developer playthrough on their Twitch channel on Thursday, August 8 (tomorrow) at 8pm UK time, giving an inside look at the development process.

We would also like to point out that players will need to downgrade to the next-gen version of Fallout 4 in order to use the mod.
