Esports World Cup Fortnite 2024: Schedule, Results, Streams and More

The 2024 World eSports Championship continues until August with Fortnitewith 16 teams and 64 players competing from August 8 for the lion’s share of the massive million dollar prize pool.

This is not the normal battle royale version of Fortnite we know and love. This time around, there will be a little twist for the Esports World Cup. Here’s everything you need to know about the format, schedule, results, and streams for the Fortnite tournament in Riyadh this week.

Esports World Cup Fortnite 2024 Format and Groups

The Fortnite View Esports World Cup 2024 events 16 teams of four compete against each otherbut this won’t be your normal event of battle royale action. Instead, EWC use the UEFN Creator to simulate classic modes such as Capture the flag, hardpoint and shrink zone teams will have to navigate to achieve victory.

Groups see the teams divided into four groups of four, each playing a GSL-style double-elimination bracket. The two that advance from that bracket are then placed into the single-elimination playoffs, with a champion crowned on August 11th.
