Zlatan Ibrahimovic abuses Man City on the club's own livestream and it was total carnage

Zlatan couldn’t resist the temptation to troll City.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic caused complete chaos when he insulted Manchester City during the club’s live stream.

Manchester City continued their preparations for the upcoming Premier League season on Saturday evening with a friendly against AC Milan in New York.

While many of his stars are still enjoying their summer break after competing in Euro 2024 and the Copa America, Pep Guardiola has fielded a team featuring many young players and big names such as Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish.

Haaland’s early strike was cancelled out by two goals from Lorenzo Colombo before half-time, but James McAtee brought City level early in the second half.

The match looked set to end in a draw until Marco Nasti scored his third goal for the Serie A giants, condemning City to a second defeat in two friendlies.

Fans waited for Haaland and Grealish after the game in the hope of getting autographs and photos, but the other big star in attendance at Yankee Stadium was not playing.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic retired last year, but he remains closely linked to Milan as an advisor.

The 42-year-old former striker fulfilled media duties before and after the match and was even a guest on City TV, City’s own channel.

City probably regretted inviting him as the former Manchester United player seized the opportunity to ridicule his old rivals.

“Bro, are there any Man City TV viewers here?” Zlatan joked to the presenter and former City players Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joleon Lescott.

The clip quickly went viral on social media and United fans couldn’t get enough of it.

“What a man,” one fan replied, while another commented: “Zlatan is in his 40s and he still cooks for City.

Another suggested that Zlatan “still has a problem with Pep Guardiola”, referring to the cool relationship that developed between player and coach during their time at Barcelona.

However, not everyone was impressed by Zlatan’s joke.

“The whole stadium is full of City supporters, Mr ZERO UCL is angry, his team has no worldwide support,” one supporter responded.

Another said: “Zlatan: ‘How can I make this about myself?'”

A third wrote: “But where is his Champions League?”
