Dortley signs a three-year contract with a one-year option at Amakhosi, coming from Cape Town Spurs. He played 26 games in the Premier League last season.

Rwanda’s number one goalkeeper Ntwari has joined Chiefs from TS Galaxy on a four-year deal with a one-year option.

“We are so excited to have Ntwari join our team! With his experience at club and international level, he will be a great addition to the goalkeeping department and our squad,” said Motaung Jr. “On behalf of our team, I welcome him and hope he will enjoy playing for this giant club in the history of football.”

“Like the other two boys, we are looking forward to Dortley’s contribution to our team,” concluded Motaung Jr. “He is a good defender, who has played for the national junior teams. We really believe he will add a lot of value to Kaizer Chiefs, especially at the back.”

Motaung Jr recently confirmed that Chiefs are expected to sign more contracts for the 2024/25 season. Amakhosi have been linked with players such as Oswin Appolis

“Far from it. We are not done signing yet. We are looking at players in certain positions where we feel we are lacking. There are meetings and activities going on behind closed doors as we look to strengthen the squad for the coming season,” Motaung Jr. told reporters.

“We work closely with the head coach and his technical team to get the right players in the right positions, where we need them.

“We want to sign players who also have a heart for this project that we are running here. We will not sign just for the sake of signing and the contracts must also make business sense, because we cannot just pay an amount if it does not make business sense.

“We also have discussions with the coach about which players fit the team and the philosophy and whether they meet the requirements that we are looking at. But yes, we are not done signing yet,” he added.
