2024 Providence Journal Independent Schools All-States team

The Providence Journal is proud to announce the 2024 All-States Independent Schools All-State team. For more than 80 years, The Providence Journal has named All-State teams to recognize and celebrate Rhode Island’s finest student-athletes. The Journal Sports staff, with some assistance from the coaches associations, selects the first and second teams. The All-State teams are also published on the High School Sports Awards page at providence journal.com/sports.

All members of the first team were nominated for Player of the Year in that sport, and the winners were announced at the High School Sports Awards ceremony held last month at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence. Former Oklahoma softball player Nicole Mendes, now an analyst for ESPN, was also in attendance.

Jake Krikorian, of Rocky Hill Country Day School, has been named Player of the Year by The Providence Journal Independent Schools.
