IRON RIVER – Market Days was an event held on Friday, July 12th where vendors and small business owners came together to show off their wares. From unique handmade jewelry to homemade plates, there was no shortage of great finds at this event. People from all walks of life came to enjoy great food, a flash mob from the Windsor Center Zumba group, and a sense of camaraderie that can’t be found anywhere else.

Whether you’ve been in town for a while or are just visiting for the weekend, Market Days welcomed everyone with open arms. If you missed the Market Days experience on Friday, the VFW Post 3134 also held an event to bring people together. The VFW Post 3134 in Iron River hosted an annual brat and corn feed at their post in downtown Iron River. The event was held after the parade on Saturday morning and fed hundreds of hungry spectators. With rodeo events like this, it’s hard not to let out a “Yeehaw!” in celebration.
