At 152 years old, the Open Championship, also known as the British Open, is the oldest major golf tournament in the world. The sport’s best athletes will gather in Scotland this week to compete at the Royal Troon Golf Club.

American Brian Harman is the reigning Open champion, and this year’s Masters winner Scottie Scheffler, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are among the other 156 players vying for the coveted Claret Jug (and a prize pool of more than $3 million). Whether you want to catch all the early-morning action on Peacock and USA, which cover the tournament’s earliest tee times, or catch up on NBC’s primary coverage over the weekend, there are plenty of ways to watch the Open Tournament on TV and streaming.

This year marks the 10th time that the Open will be played at Royal Troon Golf Club. Historic and scenic, there is one thing that sets Royal Troon apart from other courses, and that is the eighth hole on the course, which has been nicknamed “The Postage Stamp.” The par three, 123-yard hole has been called “the shortest hole in Open Championship golf,” according to Royal Troon, but despite its short length, it is considered one of the most treacherous holes in the sport thanks to its small putting green flanked by bunkers. The hole earned its nickname after Scottish golfer William Park described it as “a pitching surface that has been flattened to the size of a postage stamp.”
