Rabuka presents plans – The Fiji Times

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka will not make any specific request during his attendance at the PALM 10 meeting in Japan.

Instead, he said he would inform the Japanese government about the coalition government’s various plans.

“I will not ask. I will present what we are doing and it is up to Japan to determine where they can best help,” Mr Rabuka said.

The prime minister arrived in Japan on Tuesday evening.

It is understood that Mr Rabuka witnessed the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding between Fiji and Japan, but these events were closed to the media.

The Japanese government thanked the Fiji government for allowing Fijian rugby players to play their sport in the giant Asian country during the PALM&G meeting at the Prince Hotel in Tokyo.

The meeting heard how Fijian players have helped young Japanese rugby players develop their skills and experience in the sport.
