The Hôtel de Crillon combines art and skateboarding in an exhibition in collaboration with THE SKATEROOM

On June 18, the Hôtel de Crillon unveiled a unique exhibition. Created in collaboration with social platform THE SKATEROOM, the project highlights works inspired by skateboarding.

This summer, all of Paris is celebrating sports. Inside the iconic Hôtel de Crillon, a Rosewood HotelSkateboarding is central to a groundbreaking exhibition. By June 18 to September 14the Palace honors this sport, recently included in the Olympic Games, through a partnership with THE SKATER ROOMa social platform for art and skateboarding.

Visitors can discover works of art using skateboards as canvas, created by renowned artists such as Cindy Sherman, Juergen Teller, Jeff Koons and Inès Longevial. The exhibition, the fruit of the creative vision of Sara Andelman, founder of the Just an Idea agency, embodies Hôtel de Crillon’s ongoing commitment to creativity and solidarity through art. The project design is from Aline Asmar d’Ammanarchitect and founder of Culture in Architecture, the office responsible for the recent renovations of the Palace, with pieces selected in collaboration with THE SKATEROOM.

An exclusive collection

This immersive experience also offers the opportunity to discover the work of Inès Longevial ​​​​. The French artist focuses mainly on the art of portraiture, which she masters through her use of color and a certain poetic touch. As part of the exhibition at the Hôtel de Crillon, the painter has created an exclusive and limited edition. The pieces are sold for €185 (solo) and €500 (triptych), with 10% of the turnover going to the social partners of THE SKATEROOM platform.
