Woman attacked with skateboard on Venice promenade

The victim was identified as a 40-year-old woman

LAPD arrested a man who attacked a woman with a skateboard on the Venice Boardwalk earlier this week, authorities confirmed.

On Sunday, June 16, at approximately 8:50 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of Ocean Front Walk for reports of the attack, the LAPD said. When officers arrived on the scene, the man was arrested.

The victim was identified as a 40-year-old woman, LAFD confirmed. Although firefighters arrived and conducted an investigation, ambulance transportation was not provided.
