Donald Trump dance performed by LPGA’s Charley Hull at The Annika

NAPLES — When Charley Hull broke out into a Trump Dance Sunday during the final round of The Annika, she paid tribute to a man she calls “brilliant” and a “legend.”

The English golfer was playing with Nelly Korda when she told the eventual winner: “I love it when he does his dance,” she said of newly elected President Donald Trump.

So she followed a host of sports stars who mimicked the dance Trump broke out at rallies.

“I love Trump. I think he’s brilliant,” Hull said Thursday after shooting a 73 in the first round of the CME Group Tour Championship in Tiburon.

“I like that he just says things, he doesn’t care what people think and he is straight to the point.”

Hull, 28, wants Trump to rule her country.

“I wish he was head of Britain,” she said. “I just like him as a person. He’s a little bit better than our prime minister.”

Trump, who lives in Palm Beach, is an avid golfer and golf fan. He played with several professionals, including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Lexi Thompson, all who live in the area, and Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia and Bryson DeChambeau.

Most of those matches took place at one of his two Palm Beach County courses: Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach and Trump National Golf Club Jupiter.

Hull, who is ranked 11 in the world, has never had to deal with the former and future president.

“That would be cool,” she said. “I think he’s a legend.”
