The airline has launched a special discount for students that allows them to take extra baggage in addition to many other benefits and discounts. Get six percent discount with IndiGo’s special offer for students

According to an article recently published by The Indian Express or the IE, this particular student discount was announced on Friday, November 22, 2024. The offer, specially designed for students, gives a six percent discount on the basic flight fare.

In addition, students can also take an additional ten kg of luggage with them! So if you need to bring a lot of stuff from home to your campus, you can do so without fear of being charged extra! That’s not all! If for any reason you need to change your flight, you will not be charged at all! Yes, you read that right! No extra charges for flight changes!

Must present valid ID; Can only be used on domestic flights

If you choose this offer, please note that you will be required to show a valid official ID upon check-in to prove that you are a student. If you do not do this, you will be charged as usual.

Furthermore, this offer is only applicable on domestic flights and not on international flights. The offer is valid for students over 12 years old. Please also note that once booked tickets cannot be transferred.

Also, the offer is only valid on bookings made directly through IndiGo Airlines’ official website.
