Munster star ties the knot in beautiful ceremony surrounded by teammates

Munster rugby star Rory Scannell has married his long-term partner Aisling Colwell in a glamorous ceremony in Co. Kerry.

The newlyweds spared no expense for their wedding in Killarney, followed by a reception at the luxurious Europe Hotel.

And the duo invited some famous faces, including Keith Earls and Andrew Conway.

Scannell wrote on Instagram: “What a weekend celebrating with family and friends”

And the rugby star even joked that his orthopedic boot was from Gucci, but he had to wear them after suffering an injury earlier this year that left Munster out of action.

There were a number of absentees as Ireland’s top stars spend the coming weeks in South Africa for their two Tests.

But in their absence, a number of their partners attended as wedding guests, while the wives of Tadhg Beirne and Conor Murray were recruited as Aisling’s bridesmaids.

Scannell sustained his injury during Munster’s end-of-season win over Ulster but subsequently missed the remainder of the season as Graham Ronwtree’s men fell just short in their URC semi-final against Glasgow.
