1 pedestrian dead after being struck on I-35 off-ramp in Temple

UPDATE

One person was killed in a traffic accident that took place on Monday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the 5900 block of North General Bruce Drive, where they learned that a vehicle exiting I-35 at Exit 304 struck a pedestrian on the off-ramp – the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver who struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and no other injuries are known to have been reported.

Police will be on site for several hours to investigate this accident – this matter is under investigation.
